DESCRIPTION:*Note: actual end time may vary.* \n Woolen Clouds by textile
artist Janice Arnold will float and flow through the central lobby of the
School of Human Ecology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison\, trickling
into halls and stairwells like an icy breeze. This two-story immersive in
stallation with video elements will offer a surprising contrast to convent
ional perceptions of Felt. In conversation with the exhibition Feel The Be
at\, Woolen Clouds invites us to consider what Felt makes possible.\n\nURL

DESCRIPTION:Michael Brenneis formed the Tomato Box creative music ensemble
in 1998 to explore the fringes of Jazz and free music\, always with the go
al of developing something unique. The band found much inspiration in the
music of predecessors such as the Art Ensemble of Chicago\, and contempora
ries such as Dave Douglas’ Tiny Bell Trio\, Chris Speed’s Yeah No\, an
d Tim Berne’s Bloodcount. &nbsp\; Tomato Box concludes their decade long
hiatus by introducing a new iteration to interested ears. Expanding to a
sextet\, the group includes new membersTony Barba on tenor saxophone and c
larinet\, Jamie Kember on trombone\, and Paul Hastil on piano. Brad Townse
nd returns on bass from the 2010s iteration\, and stalwart mallet percussi
onist Geoff Brady\, an original member\, completes the lineup. &nbsp\; &nb
