 er Recertification (WFR-Recert)&nbsp\;course is a 2-day&nbsp\;24-hour cour
 se taught by NOLS Wilderness Medicine specifically to recertify participan
 ts who are currently holding a Wilderness First Responder Certification. T
 he WFR-Recert course is designed to refresh your skills and knowledge in&n
 bsp\;making&nbsp\;critical medical and evacuation decisions in remote loca
 tions. Classroom lectures and demonstrations are combined with realistic s
 cenarios where mock patients will challenge you to integrate your learning
 . Learning takes place both in the classroom and in outdoor settings regar
 dless of weather conditions. Come prepared for wet\, muddy\, cold\, or hot
  environments. Prerequisites: &nbsp\; You must be currently holding a Wild
 erness First Responder Certification or be&nbsp\;in your 1-year grace peri
 od (between certification courses). You must be 16 years old to attend thi
 s course. Certification: &nbsp\; Participants are required to pass both wr
 itten and practical examinations to obtain WFR and CPR certification. Succ
 essful course completion earns you a WMI Adult &amp\; Child CPR certificat
 ion and a WMI Wilderness First Responder certification. EMTs will earn a W
 ilderness EMT certification. All certifications are current for two years.
  Location: &nbsp\; Primary classroom will be held at Memorial Union on 800
  Langdon Street in Madison.  We are not able to offer housing or camping f
 or this course. There are hotels and hostels available nearby. Food is not
  provided but is available for purchase in the building and at nearby loca

DESCRIPTION:Whoosh\, Zoom\, and Glide Across Lake Mendota Come and experien
 ce skating on frozen Lake Mendota.  All are welcome! Skates are full sizes
  only ranging from size 4 to size 12. Small adjustable children's "bob" sk
 ates are available. Use the "Register Now" link to reserve your spot for a
  specific date and time. **Limited sizes of ice skates are available. Skat
 es are rented out on a first-come\, first-served basis. If you are a perso
