DESCRIPTION:Stem-like properties are transferred between ovarian tumor cell
 s via extracellular vesicles facilitating epigenetic changes promoting dru
 g resistance.. Surviving post-treatment ovarian cancer stem cells (CSCs) s
 erve as the foundation for recurrent drug-resistant disease. Equally chall
 enging to patient outcomes is that non-CSCs can acquire CSC phenotypic pro
 perties under the stress of aggressive treatment strategies. The mechanism
 s by which this phenotypic change occurs in the non-stem tumor cell popula
 tion are of increasing interest. Utilizing multiple preclinical OvCa model
