 ion Directorate (WUD) Distinguished Lecture Series (DLS) Committee's free 
 lecture lineup\, in collaboration with WUD Society and Politics. The event
 \, titled “A Fireside Chat With Ruby Bridges\, will feature a 60-minute 
 moderated Q&amp\;A followed by a 30-minute audience Q&amp\;A.&nbsp\; Bridg
 es is the author of several books reflecting on her experiences and encour
 aging civic engagement\, including Through My Eyes\, This Is Your Time\, I
  Am Ruby Bridges\, Dear Ruby\, Hear Our Hearts\, and her most recent relea
 se\, A Talk My Teacher\, published in January 2025. &nbsp\;Ruby Bridges is
  the recipient of the AACP Martin Luther King Award\, the Presidential Cit
 izens Medal\, and honorary doctorate degrees from Connecticut College\, Co
 llege of New Rochelle\, Teachers College\, Columbia University\, and Tulan
 e University. She was inducted into the National Women's Hall of Fame in M
