DESCRIPTION:This workshop will discuss some basic morphology\, growth habit
 s\, substrates\, and the ecology of mosses that we encounter at Kemp Natur
 al Resources Station\, with a focus on peat mosses. After a short (~30 min
 ute) indoor presentation\, we will hike Kemp’s nature trail\, with some 
 time on the bog! The hike will be about 1 mile with some moderately strenu
 ous terrain. We will pause often for discussion as we encounter interestin
 g bryos. The hike portion will last up to 2.5 hours\, early departures oka
