DESCRIPTION:Predicting and Discovering Protein Dynamics. The functions of b
iomolecules are often based in their ability to convert between multiple c
onformations. The next frontier lies in how well we can characterize\, mod
el\, and predict protein dynamics. Professor Wayment-Steele will discuss a
simple adaptation of AlphaFold to predict multiple conformations\, develo
pment of large-scale benchmarks of dynamics from across multiple types of
NMR experiments\, and whether it may already be possible to predict the pr
 esent of biologically-relevant motions.\n\nCONTACT: junjie.hu@wisc.edu\n\n
