 constituents to the environment\, including nutrients\, pathogens\, and or
 ganic matter\, it degrades both surface and ground water quality\, contrib
 utes to climate change\, causes nuisance odors\, and creates human health 
 issues. Processing manure to recover embedded nutrients such as ammonium\,
  nitrogen\, and phosphorus can mitigate these impacts by increasing nutrie
 nt density\, making a more manageable fertilizer that has a greater econom
