  This paper explores the salience of credit price disclosures and its impa
 cts on consumer decisions. Using two framed field experiments\, I demonstr
 ate that consumers struggle to translate interest rates into actual credit
  costs. Consistent with previous literature on non-salient prices\, intere
 st rate disclosures cause a subset of consumers to borrow and make purchas
